This minimalist postcard features the iconic orange Golden Gate Bridge, synonymous with San Francisco, in a glorious shade of 'International Orange'. Keeping with the sparse style of the work, the viewer is presented with a close vantage point which showcases both towers and the span between.

The back side of the postcard is completely blank, sans a small artist copyright in tiny font. This set of art cards are printed on premium recycled card paper made of 50% post consumer waste.

ARTIST'S COMMENTS

Excluding a one-time layover at SFO airport, I have yet to travel to San Francisco, or California for that matter. Man, do I know how to ramble and make a product description about me? Growing up in Virginia and never having traveled much out west, to me, this modest painting represents the simple laid back clean hippie style of northern California.

This was part of a larger series of paintings I made in an effort to learn how to stencil and I tried to keep it intentionally bare and free of many details.
